Tax Authority Error: Operation Cannot be Completed During Token Generation
Symptom
When attempting to generate a new token, the Tax Authority's identification screen displays the following error message:
"מצטערים לא ניתן להשלים פעולה זו, יש לנסות מאוחר יותר"
("Sorry, this operation cannot be completed, please try again later.")
In many cases, you will simultaneously receive an SMS from RashutMisim stating:
"זוהתה פעילות חריגה בעת ההזדהות מול רשות המיסים באמצעות תוכנה שברשותך"
("Unusual activity detected during identification with the Tax Authority via your software.")
Reason
SHAAM has recently implemented a new Fraud Prevention System.
As a security measure, the system automatically blocks the first connection attempt made by external software to prevent unauthorized access.
Solution
To resolve this block, you must verify your identity directly with the Tax Authority:
Contact SHAAM Support: Call the SHAAM technical helpdesk at 02-5688444 and select extension 2.
Request to Unblock: Inform the representative that you are experiencing an automated block while trying to generate a token and ask them to release the block.
Wait for Update: After the representative confirms the block has been removed, you must wait approximately 3 hours for the systems to sync.
After the waiting period, attempt to generate the token again
